This is a super easy and quick meal to put together, something us busy mama runner’s need!

Here is what you will need

1 pkg egg noodles
1 green pepper
1.5 lbs extra lean ground beef
1 jar of Chili sauce – Heinz
1 28 Oz can of low sodium diced tomatoes
Garlic powder

Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook for about 4 minutes, you want them still semi firm. Drain and leave in strainer.

Step 2
In the same skillet add ground beef, approx 1 tsp of garlic powder ( to taste) and chopped green pepper to the hot skillet. Cook until beef is no longer pink

Step 3

Add the can of tomatoes and chili sauce, cover and simmer on low for about 10-15 min

Step 4
Add egg noodles back to skillet , cover and let sit on low for 5 minutes
