Week 2 is in the books!
Here’s what the training called for this week


I changed it up like this
Monday – stretch
Tuesday- 3 miles
Wednesday- no running as I was at Canada’s Wonderland and walked my ass off
Thursday- 30 min tempo run
Friday – 3 miles
Saturday – rest
Sunday- 9 miles

Whew what a week!

I am still so stupid busy at work and fitting in my runs is challenging. Today I wanted to just focus on this beauty day and go , look at the views I had

The river was beautiful today

Everything was going great till mile 3 – that’s when phone call #1 came in , then 2 more! My phone beeped for the 18 text messages and countless emails too! Let the distractions begin!
I wish I could run without my phone, but my job does not allow me to be disconnected – EVER!

But alas, I finished my run and my legs and calves felt good – strong actually! I’m getting there and I figured if I’m running a solid 9 miler at week 2 I should be damn strong and much faster by week 12!


I will PR these races!
