Today recipe destroying came out of nowhere. I made some hard boiled eggs with every intention of just eating them whole. Then the mouse got on the wheel and I started thinking otherwise. That’s where this idea came from …
Cheesy Italian Wraps
1 tbsp almond flour
1 tsp of ground flax
1 tsp of ground chia
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp of Italian seasoning
Mix all the above in a small bowl. In a frying pan melt 1 tsp of coconut oil over low heat. Pour in mixture and let form into a round shape. Cook on low until you can flip it over. Once cooked let cool before eating or you can top it with pizza ingredients and pop in the oven to bake!
Paleo Egg Salad
6 hard boiled eggs, cooled and peeled
1 green onion chopped
1 tsp of yellow mustard
1 tsp of whole grain or Dijon mustard
Squeeze of lemon juice
Salt and pepper
Mix all the above and place into cooled wrap with lots of lettuce for a yummy lunch!
Personally, I will omit the Italian seasoning for just a plain wrap next time. I will use it though when making it into a pizza crust.
